Our ventilated backing pads are made from high quality polypropylene that can be used in a wide range of temperatures from cold to hot, has a high heat resistance, is lightweight and provides more flex than rubber backing pads.
Designed for sanding, finishing, moderate grinding and applications that require high-speed over an extended period of time.
Ribbed flow channels help to quickly dissipate friction heat when using A/O aluminum oxide and S/C silicone carbide abrasive discs. This design allows for proper air flow to keep temperatures cooler during use and extends the life of your abrasive discs.
*A 1-1/2″ flange nut with .219″ spanner holes and 5/8″-11 thread is included with each backing pad.
